So, if you are looking to move away from Microsoft, you might look at a Mac for an all-around, easy to use, robust machine.ĬAD/CAM. ![]() ![]() and every thing I've written, too (I love Cocoa, it's so elegant ) I've also got full access to Microsoft Office, my network of Macs and PCs, most UNIX stuff (well, the stuff that's either open source, or the vendor has ported - there is some esoteric stuff that is only available on IBM - true AIX like the POWER machines I don't mean PC compatible stuff, SGI or Sun hardware) and all the other fun stuff (iTunes, iPhoto, etc). I use a Mac, and OS X has a spell checker built-in to all Cocoa applications, including Safari (web browser), Mail, TextEdit (it's actually surprisingly useful - as it's got full RTF support), Address Book, etc.
